Private document review in your language, now on 16 GB Windows PCs
Garden Desk 1.3 speaks 28 languages and runs on Windows PCs with 16 GB of RAM. Your documents still never leave your computer.
Garden Desk reviews your documents with AI that runs entirely on your computer. Version 1.3 brings it to more people: it speaks 28 languages, and it runs on more Windows PCs.
In your language
The app now opens in your computer's language. You can change it any time in Settings. Arabic, Hebrew, and Persian read right to left.
- A Brazilian accountant reconciles client statements with every button and message in Portuguese.
- A German law firm builds matter chronologies in an app its whole team reads in German.
- A Japanese contract manager compares agreements without switching between languages.
The 28 languages: English, Arabic, Bengali, Chinese (Simplified), Czech, Danish, Dutch, Filipino, Finnish, French, German, Hebrew, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Malay, Norwegian, Persian, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Romanian, Spanish (Spain), Spanish (Latin America), Swedish, Thai, and Turkish.
On more Windows PCs
A Windows PC with 16 GB of RAM and a graphics card with 12 GB of memory (NVIDIA or AMD) can now run Garden Desk. Before, it needed about 25 GB of RAM. The fix also lets more laptops with built-in graphics run it.
Faster, steadier, safer
- A newer engine for the AI model, faster on the newest Macs and on NVIDIA graphics cards.
- Windows PCs without the Visual C++ runtime can now start the assistant, and older Windows processors are supported.
- Security updates to the app framework and its built-in runtime.
Why you can trust it
- Open source. Anyone can read the code.
- Local. No cloud, no tracking. Your documents never leave your computer.
- No network. The assistant works inside a virtual machine with no internet connection. It can read your folder, but it can't change your originals or send anything out.
